My passion for communications, public service, and technical innovation has shaped both my military and volunteer service, as well as my lifelong involvement in amateur radio.

I proudly served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Constellation (CV-64), where I gained valuable experience working as part of a dedicated team supporting one of the Navy’s premier aircraft carriers. My time in the Navy instilled a commitment to service, professionalism, and mission readiness that continues to guide me today.

I am also a Principal Member of Amateur Radio Emergency Services of Brevard, Inc., also known as the Brevard County ARES® Team (BCAT), N4TDX. Through BCAT, I participate in emergency communications planning, training, exercises, and public service events, working alongside fellow amateur radio operators to provide resilient communications in support of local agencies and our community when needed.

Today, I continue that tradition of service as an active member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, supporting the Coast Guard’s missions through volunteer service, leadership, public education, and emergency communications. I am committed to promoting recreational boating safety, supporting maritime operations, and strengthening communications capabilities during training exercises and emergency situations.

Amateur radio has been a lifelong passion that combines my interests in technology, emergency preparedness, and public service. My operating interests include HF, VHF, and UHF communications, emergency communications, digital messaging, packet radio, and experimenting with modern communication technologies. I actively use BPQ Packet, Winlink, VARA, and other digital messaging systems that provide reliable communications when conventional infrastructure is unavailable.

One of my favorite aspects of amateur radio is portable and expedition operating. Lighthouses have always fascinated me, and I have participated in numerous HF radio activations from historic lighthouses and island locations. These expeditions combine my appreciation for maritime history with the excitement of making contacts with amateur radio operators around the world.

I believe amateur radio is much more than a hobby—it is a commitment to lifelong learning, technical excellence, public service, and building friendships across the globe. Whether I’m supporting emergency communications, mentoring fellow operators, experimenting with digital technologies, chasing DX, activating a lighthouse, or volunteering with the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and BCAT, I enjoy every opportunity to serve my community and advance the amateur radio service.

Thank you for visiting my website. I invite you to explore my station, projects, expeditions, and operating activities. If you hear me on the air, don’t hesitate to give me a call. I always enjoy making new contacts and sharing the excitement of amateur radio.

Welcome to my website!
